Credentials and Training

I have been practicing massage therapy for over 14 years. I started as an assistant to an aquatic physical therapist, where I guided patients in exercises recovering from surgery, injury, or muscle or joint debilitating illnesses. There I deepened my understanding of the biomechanics of the human body and stoked my interest in healing.

I subsequently worked in health club settings for five years, collaborating with trainers to provide optimal support in clients’ recovery from intense workouts, addressing injuries, and providing relaxing and stress-relieving bodywork.

More recently I have had the privilege of working on athletes along the Front Range, providing pre-and post race massage sessions to cyclists, runners, and triathletes. Although I have a strong background in sports massage and deep tissue massage, my passion resides in facilitating deep relaxation and helping the body tap into its own healing abilities.

In May 2016, I began the Wise Womb Medicine Path for the Temple Arts Apprenticeship with Naomi Love where I am learning Mayan abdominal massage for reproductive and digestive health, plant medicine, and womb healing techniques.

In October 2018, I took Carol Osborne’s certification course for Peri- and Prenatal Massage Therapy so that I may better support women who are pregnant, laboring, and recovering from birth.  I am still in the process of certification.

I have been active throughout my life playing soccer, riding horses, backpacking, biking, running, and practicing yoga. Movement and experiencing life fully through my body has always been a priority, as well as a great passion that fuels my work and my desire to help others enjoy life fully in a healthy body.
